Tonight's post is going to be INCREDIBLY random because I am really tired and recovering from a very busy week. Therefore, I am in a funny mood. lol.

You know, I have been thinking about how God declares inward beauty to be of far more importance than outward beauty. And that is really revolutionary for our culture because everyone rates women on their outward beauty. But no matter our body type and complexion quality, if we are a marvelous gem on the inside that will shine forth and make us glorious. In thinking about that, I decided to do something strange here. I'm going to post two pictures of me without make-up. I need to do it to humble myself and also because I am so sick of hiding who I really am. So here you go:

Yep...this is me after a really tiring weekend. My hair is pulled back and it is no lie that I have a zitty complexion. lol.

This is me just hanging out. This is more like how I look without makeup except when I'm exhausted.

So there you have it. The natural me! I am not beautiful...but I am God's and that makes me unique. I believe that now...for the very first time. It is very freeing! I absolutely love this song by Natalie Grant. Please listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBP2rNbB5V0

Also, I have a new "WANTED" item. Wanted: A Mr. Darcy in 21st century culture!!! Wanted really bad by everyone girl I know! I have been watching some Pride and Prejudice tonight for those who cannot tell. Here is my favorite part of the movie. Okay...seriously. It's a good bed time story, you guys!!! For those who are sceptics, you should just try it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kylFynrvrTA

Anyway, thanks for putting up with this incredibly random post. I love you all!

Have you seen the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice, with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy? If not, you definitely should :) I haven't read the book, but I do love the story of Pride and Prejudice; I find it very sanctifying.

Yeah I have. :) I LOVE that version...it's my favorite, I think. I also really love the book. I very much recommend you read it. I, too, find Pride and Prejudice sanctifying. It really encourages me about purity and so forth!
