The Heart Of The Matter

Hi Everyone!

We apologize for not having posted for so long. Paradox and I have both been so busy with school and music! We have been praying for all of you, though, that God would cover you in His blessings.

I just wanted to remind you what true faith is all about. It is all about our HEARTS! So many people (including me) often get tied up in the details of what it LOOKS like to walk with the Lord. But in reality, it is all summed up with Matthew 5:3-12.

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they shall possess the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for justice,
for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called sons of God.

Blessed are they who suffer persecution for justice sake,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

It is all about how we are inside that matters to God. We don't have to get that A on an exam, the winning place in a music competition, or win the basketball competition. All we need is to be poor in spirit and desperate for God from the inside out...and we will please Him perfectly. So I challenge all of you (including myself). Do not let this world squeeze you into its mold, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.
